This project consisted of the complete fit-out of the firm’s new NYC headquarters on Park Avenue, including space for its subsidiary, a private wealth management firm. As their first entry into this building, they needed new carrier services and a data center in addition to general workplace facilities.
The work included offices with high-end, custom finishes, AV conference facilities, a state-of-the-art lighting control system and amenities such as a cafe, pantries, coffee bars, and additional restrooms. The new facility includes support spaces and a feature stair spanning three floors. The stair’s feature wall was constructed from back-lit materials not originally intended to span the required height. Henegan worked with the design team and vendors to create the necessary structure to allow the design to be realized.
The conference center and stair are located in a multi-story bridge that connects the lower floors of the building with an adjacent building on Madison Avenue. By utilizing the bridge that connects the buildings, the two sides were seamlessly brought together with the stair and conference facilities at the center.
