Henegan provided full construction management services for the National Basketball Players Association’s new home in midtown Manhattan. Unique to their award-winning headquarters* is a state-of-the-art training and practice facility for the use of their members and alumni. It features a 65-foot practice court, complete with two Spalding A10 Arena Back Stop Goals, bleacher seating, and an 18-panel video wall. A/V equipment and customizable lighting provide multi-function use and cable TV monitors allow for live broadcast viewing in gym and throughout.
Work out facility overlooks the court with weight room, massage therapy, and aquatics rooms with hot and cold plunge pools and Hydro Worx underwater treadmill, players’ lounge with guest suite, and separate locker rooms for players, women, and staff.
Other facilities and amenities include offices, cubicles, and conference rooms as well as an intern work station pit, full kitchen, open media/marketing pit, studio/green room, video production room, film room/classroom, laundry room, data center, and large storage facility.
